The ways in which you can make payments to HMRC will soon be changing. HMRC are updating ways to pay to ensure time efficiency and security.
Changes to Payment Methods
From 15th December this year, HMRC will no longer be accepting payments via the Post Office. And from 13th January 2018, you will no longer be able to pay HMRC with your personal credit card.
Don’t worry though, you’ll still be able to pay using your corporate credit and debit cards.
You can of course continue to make payments to HMRC via direct debit, telephone or online banking, or over the telephone with a business bank account or business credit card.
